How to find osmolarity/osmolality of sucrose?
    1) 850g of sucrose in 1L of water to Osmolarity?
    2) 850g of sucrose in 1L of water to Osmolality?

I really need help answering these questions. The way we were told to do it was to first get the MW of the substance, in this case sucrose and water. I added them to be 360 g/mol. Then we were to check the ionization and determine the amount of mosmols... for example, NaCl would be 2 mosmols... but that's the only way I know how to answer these questions and apparently it will not work since there are no ions in sucrose. I am so confused. Please help.
