I was born to American parents on Panamanian soil (my dad's military), so I have dual citizenship until I turn eighteen. When I do, though, is it possible for me to retain my dual citizenship? Do I have to do anything to switch to only American, or is it automatic? What will happen exactly, anyway, when the time for that does come? Would I have to do anything now/beforehand if I wanted to keep dual citizenship?
