My water cooled heat blower does not work when set to auto but when set to fan on it works

What make and model is that thang. I never heard of such. Normal heater thermostat controls heat turn on and an internal circuit is suppose to later turn on fan when heating device warms up. The fan switch bypasses that circuit control. I want to see what exactly is what you got?
