I stumbled upon this piece on a documentary posted on YouTube (link). One of the commentators on the page notes that the documentary is National Geographic's Miniature Miracle: The Computer Chip.

It kind of sounds like it may have been written/composed by a Japanese musician of the period given its majestic flow and somewhat oriental flavour. If anyone knows this piece please feel free to post as my curiosity is running wild,
