I want "there's beauty in the breakdown" tattooed on my left forearm, but my boyfriend said it sounds like a cheesy, boy band song title.
To me it means that no matter how bad a situation is, something good has to come out of it.
Basically I just want some other opinions before I get it on my body forever.
Is it too cheesy?
Can you give me some other short(ish) quotes that have the same basic idea?

To be honest after 40 I'm probably not going to like my body anyway so I'm not as worried about regretting

Your body at 40 will be fine if you take care of it now. Your body at 83 may not be quite what you want.
