May I take pain killers at the same time as Ambene tablets

What pain killers? We don't know your medical condition and history. We can't answer this. You have to ask the doctor who prescribes the Ambene.

Even ibuprofin has contraindications. It's bad for the liver and kidneys according to how much you take, for how long, and how healthy you are. No one online should answer this out of the blue, knowing nothing about your health. Why won't you ask your doctor? If you want to take some now, just to get you through until you can get a call back, go ahead.

Thank you for that. I am in good health apart from osteoarthritis of the hip joint for which I need an operation. As for pain killers I alternate between ibuprofen and paracetamol with no apparent side effects. Any other ideas ?
