Am a few days late on my restitution payment. I was charged with misdemeanor for theft, part of my probation is to make 50 payments every month. My payment will literally be a few days late this month, I need to know what they will do to me? I am scared, I don't want to go to jail, I am 5 months pregnant.

That all depends on the people making that decision... and the severity of your crime.

I would scrape the money together and not be late. Yes, late payment is a violation of probation. If you cannot afford the payments, pregnant or not, you can be sentenced to serve time.

I think you'll be allowed a little bit of time this month, but I wouldn't make this a habit.
