I have had some very bad pain in my lower back area for the last couple of weeks. It fee;s like someone has punched me in the Kidney area. Doctor thought I might have a Kidney infection and prescribed an antibiotic. Well its been at while and the pain is still there. Yesterday I went out to drive a bucket of golf balls but could not finish, the pain was to great. I do not understand why this pain is going up to my shoulders and to my chest if it is my kidneys. Could this possibly be something else.

It could be something else. Have you injured your back in the last little bit? Strained it at all?
