    Must I pay child support?
    My daughter lives in Virginia Ian in Wisconsin I never see her and Iam not involved in her life at all I do pay 520 a month in support but because of this I can't support myself so I wanted to know how to go about signing my rights over?

    You can only sign your rights away if/when someone is prepared to adopt the child.

    If you cannot afford the support go back to Court, prove changed circumstances and get it lowered.

    There is this myth that a parent can sign their rights over. Its only a myth! You fathered the child, you are responsible for supporting her.

    If you think you are payng too much, then go back to court for a modification.
