I was a few days late for my period and then I started. It is a normal flow and color period and is still going on 3 days later, but I started having extreme cramps and pain around my back where my kidneys are. I have every symptom of a kidney infection including fever and nasea. All I want to know is there any way I could be pregnant or am I in the clear? Is it possible to be on your 3rd day of a normal period and still be pregnant? All this kidney infection stuff was freaking me out.

And ps I had protected sex I was just making sure I can't be pregnant

It does not sound pregnant, sounds like a more painful period. Or even kidney infections.

3 days is not late, many women are give or take a few days on a regular basis, It may be slightly latter than normal,

It is rare, that you will have a regular period and be pregnant. Normally this would only happen if you had sex a few days before your period and got pregnant then.

So no one can say 100 percent you are not pregnant, but it does not sound like you are.
