I was in a car accident sometime ago? It was seen to be my fault my boyfriend was in the car with me. If he put a claim in against me would I be told by my insurance company? It happened over three years ago but just the other day I discovered a letter from a claims company, he hasn't mentioned this to me and we decided when the accident happened he wouldn't put a claim in.

Were you living together at the time? Did you have the same mailing address? If so, think about it: If your insurance company sent you notice, he may very well have intercepted the letter.

Have you received bills for the insurance premium? Did you notice if your rates were raised and, if so, did you ask why?
