I was served a VPO on 8/30. It is now 9/22 am I still responsible for my half of the rent, even though I no longer live there? This is for the state of Oklahoma.

Sure. You rented from the landlord. The LL doesn't care whether you live there or were served with a protective order. All the LL cares about is whether the rent is paid on time.

Is this a lease? If not, you can give the LL due notice (normally 30 days) that after that time you will no longer be responsible for the rent.
