Shower has no pressure hot water
All of my plumbing in the house works fine except the basement bathroom.

It is all new plumbing and when the plumber installed everything was working fine. Now there is hardly any pressure (hot or cold) in the bathroom and there is no hot water at all.

We made sure the valves where all open and they are clean, plus the water heater is new as well.

We have well water but like I said there are no other problems upstairs with water pressure or hot water.

I am at a total loss. I took the shower face off and checked the valve and regulator. Likewise, I took the screen off the sink and no debris either.

I am hoping you can help

How old is your house and what material are the pipes? Try this. Shut the water off at the house shut off and unthread the two 1/2" chrome compression nuts off the vanity angle stops. Pull the angle stops clear. Place a pail over the open pipes and have someone turn the water back on, You should get a strong flow out of both pipes. If not click back and tell me. Good luck, Tom

When I took the stops off the sink and shower I had full pressure and hot water. The toilet doesn't have much flushing pressure either so when I put new stops in the problem persisted. I had read your thread to another person and saw some debree and flushed the lines, however the lines are all new except at the balloon tank that brings the water in from the well.

I have pressure in all other lines including lines that come after this section (mainly the kitchen above has perfect pressure from what I can tell) If the pressure is reduced upstairs it is negligible

    What next

    Thanks for the response

    Shane
