In order to lighten your hair, you would need to chemically dye it. Although some types of hair dyes are probably safe to use during pregnancy because very little of the dye is absorbed through the skin. I think you should play it safe and not dye your hair during pregnancy.
You should ask your doctor. My doctor said it was fine to color my hair when I was pregnant and I did. My friend's doctor also said it was fine to color her hair and we didn't have any problems. I have known a lot of people who do so and have read that it is not enough to absorb through the skin.
Yes, ask your doctor. If the area is well ventilated it should be no problem. The major concern is the inhalation of the chemicals. Your doctor should be the one you ask this question to.
I have had 4 children and was always allowed to color/per my hair. As I said, the danger is in the inhalation of the chemicals rather than the chemicals on your skin.
It's only 3 more months dear. Just wait until you have given birth before dying your hair.
I dyed my hair through both of my pregnancies. Both of my children turned out fine. They are both now in college. I will say if you are concerned you should wait or talk to your OB Dr.
