Very difficult---Early 50's movie--Title unknown
PLOT = A very hot summer night, and a young boy is sleeping on his fire escape (as was common in those days)...
He is awakened by a commotion in the building across the street... He witnesses a man killing his wife...
He tells his mother what he saw, and she tells him it was a nightmare... He keeps insisting it wasn't... To punish his insubordination, she brings him to the man's apartment and tells the murderer what her son saw... She insists that the boy apologize...
The rest of the movie entails the man's pursuit of the boy...
I cannot remember any of the actors or the title... It's an early 50's movie... I woulld appreciare any info...
