I'm fitting a dimmer switch and have two red wires together and a black and blue wire together which one is which

Well, since we don't know what all these wires are or where they go, because colors don't mean anything, it is impossible to even guess.

And since we don't even know if you are in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc, it makes it even more difficult.

Do you have a good electrical tester?
