I live in Georgia. I just did registration renew of my car online. Couple of days later, I received a new license plate with renewed sticker on it. I didn't request a new plate and I didn't get charged for it neither. Anybody knows why?

Unless you do a vanity plate or special plate there is no additional charge for plates, Every few years they just issue new plates. Did GA not slightly change the design this year?
