No heat. How to fix it?
We have a Beckett Burner Model AFG50XN with a Honeywell R8184M1002 primary oil igniter. Its about 5 years maybe. The oil coming in isn't being lit. We have hit the reset button on the honeywell. That worked for a short time to get the fire going. But that method seemed to stop working. What are the possible problems and what are some DIY solutions? Thanks

If you had to hit the reset it usually means you have a ignition problem since you said you have oil getting to the burner. First stop hitting the reset button. This can and will cause a problem for the service man that will fix your heater. If it has been 5 years old you are way past the time for a professional tune up. Call and arrange for service.
