    Flexible p trap
Main drain coming out of the wall is too high to accommodate a standard p trap connection. To make the p trap work without lowering the main drain, would require a 4 - 5 inch extension coming off the quarter bend connection (the elbow end that connects directly to the trap) attached to the main wall drain. I may be able to cut the tail pipe of the sink drain a bit but it still will require an extension between the quarter bend to the threaded end of the p trap. Without tearing into wall, what is the max extension I can utilize and achieve proper drain flow or is this scenario going to cause nothing but problems.
