Hi, I want to renovate my roof which is covered in my insurance. I already called the insurance company and told me that they can pay the expenses according to the covered policy. The thing is, they want their roofer (roof installer) to do the job, but I don't want their roofer to do so because I have my own roofer that can do the job, can I still insist my decision to go with my roofer? What if they don't want to pay the expenses, what should I do? Thank you so much

A lot depends on where you live. Insurance is regulated on a state level. Some places can mandate that.. others they can only suggest.
