Lets say something breaks in your car that stops it from running and you get it fixed then shortly afterwards something else breaks like a domino effect.. Like one thing after another situation... Just about everyone I know when something go's wrong with there car then they get it fixed something shortly after breaks 99%of the time this happens is it true?. That this can happen to all these people and if so is ere mechanic setting them up for failure?

THis happens with cars that should be junked... that have outlived their service life. Everything wears out... some sooner than later.

Yeah I hear that I totally understand and appreciate your reply!

Cars are rather well built these days and if reasonibly taken care of can look good past the point they are mechanically worn out.

And one thing after another needing replaced (that aren't normal wear items like bulbs, hoses, brakes and blelts)is a good indication that point has arrived... and its not so easy to see when its your own car until you are well past that point.

Its easy to convince yourself this way."...look at it, it still llooks good, it can't be worn out." Particualry if like most of us... you don't keep a good log of repairs and costs where you can see the costs going up in front of you.
