How can I move out of my mothers home and into my dads?
I'm 16 years old and a junior in high school. My mother and I really don't get along and we fight almost everyday. It's has gotten to a point where I don't want to live with her anymore and I want to move in with my dad. Can I move out without her consent? Or does my father need to fight for custody to have me?

Your father has to file in Family Court for a modification of the support agreement. At 16 your preference will be given significant weight, but it will still be up to a court to decide. You can't decide for yourself and if you move without the court's approval, it will make it even harder.

Your father will have to file for custody and show cause why it is in your benefit to move. Mother can try and show why it would not be. They will fight in court over it, if they can not agree
