    Pregnancy
I am on the contraceptive pill, and I took it yesterday morning, my partner and I had unprotected sex for the first time, we had unprotected sex twice that day and both times he in me. It is now the morning after having unprotective sex, what are my chances of falling pregnant? If I don't take the pill thismorning is there more chance of me falling pregnant...

For the pill to reach maximum protection level it is suggested that you be on it for one entire month before engaging in unprotected sex.

    Thanks J 9.
Another question, the last month I had missed the pill here and there, so does that mean I wasn't at maximum protection even thou I took the pill that day..

Yes, for maximum protection the pill is designed to be taken at the same time every day without fail.

Also, remember that certain antibiotics can render the pill inactive.

There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective, so pregnancy is always a possibility no matter how perfectly you take the pill.

Well this morning I went to the toilet and I was bleeding... Not a lot, but is that normal considering I'm not due for my period for a couple of days.

And how long should I wait till I can do a pregnancy test to see if I am or am not pregnant.

I bled this morning only once.. How many days do I need to wait before I get a pregnancy test? Because I think that's the only way to find out..
