A new central ac unit was installled in our attic by rheem. The unit is blowing cold air fine but in our hallway where I put the air filter when the fan blower turns on sound is very noisy. Can anything be done to eliminate this noise. The fan blower speed was turned down but the noise is still there. What can be done to eliminate this noise? The old unit we had never made any noise when air was coming through vents.

Since the unit is new please contact the installer since they will have the cure for you if one is available.
