What are some ways to get my hair to grow faster? I'm looking for natural ways but if there is an unnatural way that won't make me go bald down the road, I'll take it. Any suggestions?

Try scalp maassage.
This can be done with fingertips or scalp vibrator.
Never wash hair with extremely hot water.
Tepid or slightly cool is best.
Always use the cool setting on your hairblower.

My sister in law is a hair stylist, 25+ years experience and several extra certifications under her belt (she does strip-free waxing, nails, the whole shabang) ; here was her response:

"You can't make it grow faster except when you're pregnant. Even then, it'll return to normal when you stop breast-feeding. It grows a half-inch per month, sometimes more depending on the person."

BUT! Do not fret! She gave me some tips (I'm paraphrasing) for keeping it strong while it grows:

- Snack on nuts and other high protein snacks. It helps internally for your fingernails AND your hair to make them stronger.

- Wash your hair every other day, and leave conditioner on for at least two minutes or more. Rinsing it out immediately doesn't give it enough time to soak into your hair.

- Get regular cuts; not because it'll make it grow faster (that's an old myth) but because it'll minimize split ends and keep your hair from looking scraggly.

- Use a protein treatment 1x/week if you color and once every two weeks if you don't.
