    PhotoGallery Install Message
I recently had a problem with PhotoGallery wanting to install on my laptop and asking for an install disk. I do not have a disk nor do I know why this is trying to install. While this message was appearing, it would not allow me to shut down the computer the normal way. I could only make it shut down by holding down the on/off button. Also, it would not allow me to install any other programs. I managed to clean out the message with System Recovery and of course lost some of my files. After if was clean, I could install most programs except Photoshop Elements. When I tried to install it, the same PhotoGallery message returned. I had successfully installed and used Photoshop before the PhotoGallery message. I am now up and running but afraid to try to install Photoshop again. This is a program I use all the time. Has anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks for your help.

    Nameless
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility at the Microsoft site [url=http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301] and then use it to look for the stupid PhotoGallery in the list of programs in your computer, then zapp it out (remove it). It worked for me.

    Good Luck,
