    Electrical popping noise
I am buying a mobile home for my son and when I turned the circuit breaker on to test the dryer the dryer didn't start and popped .It sounded like it came froma the outlet. We turned off the breaker and tried it and the same thing happened. Any thoughts about what could be wrong. Thanks for the info.

A faulty termination inside the connector outlet or the connector itself. The popping sound is electrical arcing. Nm
