Battery keeps dying on 03 Chevy Venture
Our 03' Chevy Venture keeps having intermittent issues with the battery dying. It also is having an issue with the running lights, turn signal lights, brake lights, head lights, etc blowing out. When we replaced the front turn signal lights they would blow, but Venture would start. When the lights would work the battery would die after the vehicle sat overnight. Sometimes we've left our radar detector plugged into the lighter, but that hasn't caused a problem till the bulbs were replaced & now the battery keeps running down. It just doesn't seem like a coincidence that the exterior lights and the battery don't have something to do with each other. We've had the battery tested, but they said it was fine. Since the design of the Venture has caused the normal owner to take it back to the dealer to have the battery changed we are trying to avoid that cost if a new battery isn't needed.
Also the sliding doors will sometimes work & sometimes not work. They clearly have a mind of there own. They won't work off the remote or near the door panel, but if the overhead button is pushed it will work. Other times we have to close it the good ole fashioned way.
Any suggestions to solve these problems would be appreciated.
