Why does the d4 light keep blinking on my 1993 honda accord its an automatic also I change out the tcu and the transmission seens to stay in a high gear like maybe 3rd I have to take off slow can you help me out

Check for codes. If you haven't been changing the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles, the clutch packs may be shot.

And if that is the case do that mean I need to get another transmission

You could also have your current transmission rebuilt.
