Been looking for plastic for my bike. It needs a nose and mid fairing. Anyone ever ysed the fiberglass racing fairings? Looks like a pain to cut all my light holes

It is a pain, and it's also looks terrible if you don't do it right.

Kind of figured that with the recessed headlight. Ive been looking for plastic for 6years. And ho da wants way too much for the 3 pieces I need. Im thinking about parting it out. I would ride it as is but it is wanting to over heat without the sides abd belly to funnel the air in

Have you tried eBay? There's usually a lot of older stuff like that kicking around for fairly reasonable prices. It is an older bike, might be time for an upgrade?

Been looking on eBay for 5 years found 1 side an ignition a helmet lock and a gas cap. Ive thought about a new bike but until the tweekers pay me for this one I can't afford a new one. I learned the hard way why you get full coverage on a bike. Im also thinking about putting the motor in a buggy. But I'm not sure what I'm boing to do yet

Damn, yeah those VFRs are a wicked nice bike but they are a bit odd to find. There's '00 VFR 800 that I've had my eye on for about 3 months now. Just waiting for the price to drop and my savings to grow. Haha
