Okay here's the deal, I dated my ex a year ago for one month and now, one year later, I've been hanging out with her friend whenever she will accept my offer to hang. I've hooked up with her friend like 3 times but we haven't done anything too sexual. She is still good friends with my ex and they hang out a pretty good bit. My ex's friend sometimes gives me excuses why she can't hang out because she doesn't want to hurt my ex's feelings. We talk pretty much all day every day. Is there any way I could somehow date her and make her forget about my ex still trying to stop our relationship? What would be the best course of action for me to take? Thank you for any advice I receive.

This girls has ethics. Her relationship with her friend is more important to her than one with you. Respect that and leave her alone.
