What do you do if your friend likes your boyfriend?
Okay so I'm in 8th grade and I have just started 'dating' my boyfriend mark evrything has been fine for the past month and we have been happy and stuff but today in maths he got told to sit next to my close friend chloe, and I was sat behind them, so I hear them giggling and making fun of the teacher, and I'm thinking 'okay this is awkward' because I have no-one to talk to, and then chloe starts drawing on him and just joking around, and he goes Along with it, and so I'm sat behind them by myself watching my close friend and my boyfriend basically flirting with each other, and so in my head I'm thinking 'okay don't worry they are just friends messing about' and so on the way home from school I tell my best friend laura about what was going on, and she told me about how chloe and mark used to date for quite a while, and so now I don't know who to trust, what to believe and what to do.

Now mark has a history of on off relationships and jumping from girl to girl but this is his longest relationship and I don't know whether it is close to an end or whether it will carry on.

Please help me what shall I do?

You don't know that they were flirting, they are friends and were just joking around. If you're worried, ask him.
You are what 13/14. This will pass and more than likely so will he, and you will get over it.

Kiddo, it's really unlikely that you and Mark will end up together forever. You're too young. This is why young people shouldn't date, they can't handle it.

It sounds like Mark and Chloe were just having fun. Really, is Mark, or Chloe, stupid enough to flirt with each other when they know you're in the room?

Truth told, the thing that makes me most upset about your post is that this is all going on during math class. WTH? They're giggling, talking, drawing on each other, and you're sitting there watching. No wonder we get so many math questions on this site. No one is paying attention in class! :(

What should you do? Pay attention to the teacher and the class... if you can do that until after you graduate, when you are adult... you will be hiring him to mow your grass... because he spent his time chasing girls instead of chasing an education... he won't be able to get a better job.

At times like this it really sucks that I can only give one greenie to a post. :(

He has a history of jumping from girl to girl, odds are he still will. Esp at this age.

You don't do anything. You go on as before. This was no big deal.

We told you... avoid him and that crowd... they are going to be the ones who work at Walmart if they are lucky... those who pay attention and don't waste their time on those types are going to have the good jobs.

You should be blunt ask him if he was indeed flirting with her, And if it made you feel weird how she was giggling and drawing on him you should tell her just that she is your friend, regardless if she dated him first she should respect the fact that you two are dating, friends should never touch your boyfriend, and in the end if he admits he was flirting or she's not okay with backing off than neither one of them where true to you! Good luck!

    I'm glad you're listening.

Fact is, you have your whole life ahead of you, plenty of time to date when you're older. Right now school is your job. Do that job well and you'll be set for life. Worry too much about boys and dating, and it will screw with your job, and your future. Don't learn that lesson the hard way. Concentrate on school, that's your priority. :)
