If a person is married yet they wish to be with someone else in a halal marriage, can they pray istikhara, ask for a divorce with present husband a.d get 2married where they wish to be?

Are you married to a non muslim? And now you are muslim? Or were you always muslim?

Allah does not enjoy divorce, and neither should we. Is there reason you do not want to be with your current spouse?

Are you male or female? This makes a difference.
