    I used necto henna to dye my hair burgundy yesterday.. It came out black instead!! :( my natural hair colour is red/light brown. I really want it a chestnut colour.. And I can't bleach my hair because it will break off... Please help!! I have 3 weeks to fix this. Please!

    You sound so desperate. I don't know what to tell you. Your hair was too porous for the henna dye. That's why it turned out dark. Your hair must be in bad shape; how many times have you dyed it recently?

    Yes, you can't bleach your hair if it is like that.

    I guess you are stuck, unless you seek professional help from a salon, of course.

    Yes I am actually. 3 weeks isn't long at all. I haven't dyed it for a couple of months except for yesterday. Porous? I really have to fix this, isn't there a home remedy that can take most of it out in 2 weeks? Need your help

    Porous is what happens to the hair shaft when hair is over-processed, means it soaks up chemicals easily.

    I don't know what to suggest but there are always some good ideas on Google, if you put in 'stripping hair'. Try that but keep yourself posted here, we do have some good hair people. I am off to work, so can't research it for you right now. We are all volunteers here.
