I never followed up with my 401k from an old employer. How would I find out what ever happened to it or where would I search on-line?

If you know the company and have the log in to check it online, you may do so.

If not, you contact the admin company that handled the account and find out the status of it.

If you have any old statements you might check with the plan administrator.
