    Coleman central air/furnace/presedential II
Help! My furnace area had NO place for a filter, used a flashlight to look around, and it was extremely full of dirty sticky dust, so master maintenance fanatic that I am, took my vacuum cleaner and a dry paint brush to dust fan blades and clean general area, took care in not disturbing wiring or dials, feeling pretty good that I may have headed of any issues later. Well, as it turns out I am wrong, it WAS working all fine, quieter, lots of dust from floor vents though. Everything appeared to be running well and cooling. Until today, everything appears fine w/furnace part, blower etc. the air conditioner is not kicking on, the fan on furnace runs but not much air flow coming out of floor vents. Is there something else that I will need to look for and clean, wondering if all that loosened up dust clogged something deeper inside? My Coleman furnace # model-767OC856 # serial-118364677. Air conditioner unit # model- 7830-901 #serial-128308199. This question is from Kim

In your attempt to clean things, you probably loosened enough dirt to foul the a/c evaporator coil which is under the furnace. There are filter kits available for your furnace.

Most coleman furnaces the filter/filters are designed to go inside/cover the door from the inside
