No. The prosecutor runs the grand jury. Whatever HE wants is what happens. You don't have any say.

I only ask because if you are in GB the laws varies somewhat
At least here in the US, normally at the grand jury, the victim may not even speak, and normally the suspect does not speak either.
The police will show police reports and perhaps photos and get the indictment.
And of course if there was domestic violence, you need to prosecute them, they are not really sorry, and yes they will do it again.
Laws were changed in many places because too many women were coming in the next day dropping charges, now officers are required to arrest if they see proof.
