    Is it necessary for a girl to follow iddath who's huzband never had intercourse with her in 9 mnths marrriage. Now that the qazi has declared her marriage as fisq (nulified) can any guy propose her for marriage? Can she watch TV in iddat . How lond should she be in iddah

    Assalamu Alaikum

    The Quran tells us this answer. It is the only exception to Iddah.

    O you who believe: When you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, no period of idda (waiting) have you to count in respect of them: so give them a present and set them free in a graceful manner. S. 33:49
