Are fauxhawks and mohawks out of style? I never styled my hair before but it's long now and I want to cut it and get it styled I was thinking of getting it like this

But someone told me they're old news so I don't really want to get it now. Are they out of style? Should I not get it?

They have not been in style for some time. Does not mean that some people do not get them, Many people like to be either a "trend setter" getting it back into style or just does what they want.
