I have a remote controlled hampton bay ceiling fan. The remote turns on the fan and light, but the fan will just shut off for no apparent reason. We did not install fan, this is a condo rental. Anyone know the answer.

You may have a problem since it's a condo building, if there are multipl condo units having the same fan. If the dip switches were all wired the same way on the receivers, its possible that when someone turns off their fan with their remote, the frequency also interacts with your fan and turns it off too.
