My husband kicking me out of the house with three kids. Where to go?
WE've been together for 6 years, married 3 years, have three beautiful kids. But the family is falling apart, because I'm not accepting his religious views. When we met each other, he wasn't religious, now he wants to go back to church and take kids with him. He is spanish, his religion is very weird and scary, all his family is evangelists, I don't want to see my kids in his religion. He said then we getting divorced, because he will choose religion over me and our family. We live in his mother's house, who is spiritually abusing me and my kids with her audiotapes, prayers, religious music and cults in the house with 10-20 people praying, screaming, and hitting the floor, when my 2-month old baby sleeping in the next room, and my kids get scared of all the procession. Why I didn't left him long time ago? I have nowhere to go, I don't know where I can get emergency housing in case he will kick me out of his mom's house. I don't know where to look for help?

Look for a women's shelter. You should be able to speak with someone on the phone and explain your situation. They will tell you if they have room for you and your children or what to do next. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.

You can't be forced from the marital home that easily. They have to get a court order, either a divorce or eviction.

But you need to find a women's shelter or support group to guide you how to leave.

If this is in the US, he can not just force you to leave.

Next what religion is this, since most spanish speaking do not have strange religions, most are Catholic.

Yelling and hitting the floor sounds like Penticostal perhaps, but that is not a large religion for Spanish.

And what is scary, And if you have livedin his mothers house, this religion was going on the entire time, why only now is it scary ?

This is not our marital home, we just renting 2-bedroom in his mama's house. We never had enough money to rent somewhere else. Thank you for you response, I will go to Department of Social Services first thing in the morning Monday, maybe they can help me somehow.

Yes, this is in New York, US. You were right, he is a Penticostal, and all his family who force him to go to church. Yes, this religion was going on the entire time, but now they want my husband and my kids to attend their church, and my husband accepted it. He said, if I want to raise the kids my way, I have to leave. Thank you for your answer, I appreciate any answer, since I don't even have no one to talk to.
