Has your doctor said that the quantity of your sperm has decreased? If not, just because you may have a smaller amount of ejaculate does not necessarily cause low sperm count.

Now what you can do is stay out of hot tubs, stay away from very hot water, and wear boxers, not briefs. Anything that keeps the testicles close to the body will lower sperm count. So don't wear restrictive clothing, do not have sex every night as this tends to lower sperm count also.

I have to wonder why you think its low. Since I doubt if you counted them, the only way you got correct advice that its low is from your doctor. And your doctor should have given you the same advice J-9 did.

So I suspect that you may have a different reason for thinking its low. And you really should be more forthcoming if you want our help.

It is different for every man. However a urologist can give you the amount normal for you. Please make an appointment with a urologist to address your concerns. He will do some testing and give you the most accurate info you need.

As J 9 said you need to consult with a physican on this. But I would still like to know why YOU think its low.
