If there is an issue with eating and the person's life is in danger, the person would be hospitalized and IVs used for nourishment. Solid food would not be forced down the person's throat.

If the person is on a planned and announced hunger strike, that is a different situation.

Anorexic is a serious illness that can cause all sorts of problems even leading to death.
So yes various things can be done in the right setting. Normally it would be in a hospital setting and not really solid and most likely feeding though a tube
