We have joint custody of our children. Do I need to give permission to the ex when they move out of town or fly to another state?

You do not need to give permission for your ex to move as long as they aren't taking the children. You do need to give permission is they children will be travelling without you.

Thanks. My ex is making dicitions without my knowledge on the children. e.g. applying to a school and flying by plane to other cities. Do I need to give permission on this .

Were are you? You refer to state, but enter distance in KM. Are you in Australia? I think the word you want to use is decisions. You really need to answer all our questions for us to help.

What does "visiting court has been ordered" mean? Does it mean that visitations have been ordered by a court or does it mean that a court hearing on visitations has been ordered?

She should be getting your input on applying to schools, but she may not need your permission to fly on a vacation as long as she is solely on her visiting time.

All of this depends on where you are at, and the exact wording of the agreement. If the agreement does not say she needs permission, then she does not. If it is now too far you need to go back to court to get order modified
