The wires were all unplugged. When trying to plug everything back, the reset button was hit and the bar came up but it never started. It says no signal.

Have you called the Direct TV help desk yet? We don't work for them.

But it sounds like you didn't put all the cables back correctly. Specifically the coax to the TV and the dish are mixed up.
