I have a Eljer bathtub faucet that has a steady stream of water flowing from it. How do I fix it ? It has two knobs and a shower head. The leaking water is always the hot water.

First thing always see if the washers are worn out, and if they are replace them

Let me add a bit to tinsigns answer. Turn off the water to the valve and open it up. Check and replace the washers if necessary. Before you button up the faucet run your fingernail around the seats. If they are nicked or rough they will have to be replaced or they will simply tear up the new washers. Good luck, Tom
