Is something DANGEROUS happening to me
    Hey Gamed here

Ok so 1 1/2 months ago I stopped boxing to start mixed martial arts.
I've had to change my sleeping schedule because the pros I work with wake up at 6:00 p.m because their fights take place around 8:00 so this helps them be refreshed when the time comes.

Anyway since I have been losing sleep from shifting hours I've lost 11 lbs my 5mi runs seem to be impossible now ,and things that were easy 1 month ago like pullups and pushups are getting hard.

I know I'm losing muscle but why?
    Is it from exhaustion?
    Is it a disease?
Should I just see my doctor?

    Detail helps thanks.

Maybe you're in your changing period. Maybe you need to see your doctor. Good luck.

The body takes time to adjust and get use to your new schedule, and routine. Its often the case for athletes that go from one sport to another as different skills and muscle sets are required.

If the low energy persists though, see the doctor, and he may want you to modify your diet. A nutritionist is any athletes ace in the hole. It's a different ballgame from cardio exercise to running for endurance.

Be patient guy, the body will adjust if your routine is stable and appropriate for what you want to accomplish as you reach optimal fighting weight. A sport doctor is what you need to guide you. Diet and sleep are crucial to any performance.

No don't worry that's a good thing. Body buliders often change their workout routine because the body adapts to workouts very quikly and you start to not even see results anymore its good to change your schedule your challanging your body more which should cause better improvement than sticking to the same workout

Why are you "waking up" at 6 pm, did you mean 6 am ?

Most mix martial arts fighters I know get up at 4 or 5 am, work out, and then do their day, and work out more in the evenings.

Almost all professional mixed martial arts fights take place at around 7-10 p.m. So they wake up at 6 p.m so they are refreshed for a fight.
If they have a few months off they will go back to the regular 5 am gym time.

Guess things changed over 20 years, we never changed sleep to fight. In fact we still had a small workout the morning of the fights and a short run.

Of course we went on 4 to 5 hours total sleep normally.

I have trained several fighters and never had them change sleep habits.
