    Old Business debt
I have a business debt, that I personally guaranteed. The company hired a lawyer and they had a debt judgment awarded for personal property and then for real property, well that is what is stated in the execution of judgment. I live in South Carolina. What can they do? Can they levy my joint bank accounts? Can they levy my jointly owned home. I just bought it, with my significant other. And can they go after assets, I jointly own in other counties of the state? What are my options at this point? I know South Carolina is a non wage-garnishment state for credit debt. So I believe my paycheck is okay. Thanks for any info... :(

You agreed to be personally responsible to pay a debt, if the company was unable to do so. When you signed that agreement, you put all your assets on the line. And, that is what is now at risk.
