I have filed my tax return 2011 along with the W7 of my spouse, sent the application on June 25 2012 along with notarized original of passport and all other tax return documents.

Got a letter from IRS asking to send the Original or Certified passport (letter date July 25th 2012 ) before September 10th 2012. I sent them original passport on August 14th 2012 using certified mail service of USPS ( delivered on August 17th 2012).

Got the same letter again asking for original or Certified passport ( letter date August 29th 2012). I spoke to one of the representative and he told me my file in on suspend and he did not confirm if they have received the passport.

Please help, I have to get my passport back.
