    Generator fuse blown
I just purchased a new house and it has a 40kw bryant generator. I noticed it is not working and found the 15amp fuse blown. I replace the fuse and followed the startup procedure. When the panel calls for startup, the fuse immediately blows. I checked the connections and cannot find anything loose, frayed or cut...

Has anyone run into this problem and what are some areas to check? I am trying to get the diagnostic manual as the operating manual just states replace fuse...

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,
Evidently the generator part is wholely separate from the heating and air. The only slightly relevant thing I found was this link:
